Close friends/best friends
Am I the only one who doesn’t have a best friend or any close friends? I feel like all of my friends back home are just acquaintances that I know a little bit more than average about but would not really affect me in any way if I never heard from them again. Maybe because I have gone for the most part for two years and never come home(nobody ever wants to do anything anyway).

Nothing against you Australia, but it’s expensive to get to you. Expensive to stay there and expensive to travel around there. I’m not looking to spend that kind of money. I’ll have to visit Australia sometime when I have a month or more to hang around.

Going on day 3 of no shower
Since the Army accidentally/intentionally burned those Korans the other day the Afghan workers have hardly shown up as some sort of protest which means that the whole fucking base is essentially shut down.
The Afghans do all of the manual labor parts involved with a lot of stuff that goes on at this base including sanitation. And since there are no Afghans there is not enough people to take care...

I'm more worried about Pakistan than Iran
Everyone plays up Iran working towards nuclear weapons a definite war starter but Iran is smarter than that. Russia will keep them on a leash just as China keeps N.Korea on a leash and they already have nukes!
